The Hermiston School District is now accepting registrations for new kindergarten students beginning today and continuing through April 22 for the 2019-2020 school year.
New kindergarten students must be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2019, or born on or before Sept. 1, 2014. Parents or guardians may begin the registration process online, click on “Register NEW Students Online,” and answer all questions that apply.
If the parent or guardian does not have access to a computer, they may go to the District Office, located at 305 SW 11th St., on Thursday, April 18, from 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m., to register their kindergarten student.
Parents or guardians will need to provide the child’s birth record (birth certificate, baptismal certificate or passport); proof of residence; and health/immunization records. Spanish translation services will be available. To verify a boundary school, adults may locate their home address on the district boundary map or call a school directly for assistance.
