Hermiston Schools Superintendent Dr. Tricia Mooney is announcing administrative changes, effective July 1.
Highland Hills Elementary Principal Jake Bacon will move to the district office as the Director of Human Resources.
Bacon will be replacing Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources David Marshall who has been named the new superintendent for the Brookings-Harbor School District.
Sunset Elementary Dean of Students Becky Bacon is also being promoted and will step in as the new principal for Highland Hills Elementary.
“The district has made it a priority to invest in our staff and leaders, and at this time we are fortunate to be able to promote from within,” said Mooney. “Our administrators will have the opportunity to apply the leadership skills they have gained over the years and I am confident that they will contribute to the success of the district.”
