Hermiston School District is holidng online kindergarten registration now through June 11, for the 2020-2021 school year. Incoming kindergarten students must be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2020.
To begin, the parent/guardian may visit the district’s website, click “Online Registration” on the right-hand corner of the page. If this is the first time that a parent/guardian is registering a student, an account will need to be created; an e-mail address or cell phone will be required. If the parent has previously registered students online, the same account may be used to register the new student.
When finished with the online process, the parent/guardian will need to contact their child’s school to schedule an appointment with the school secretary to take the necessary documents birth certificate (baptismal certificate or passport); proof of residence; and health/immunization records to complete the registration process, as well as to fill out any additional paperwork.
To locate their child’s attendance area school, the parent/guardian can visit the school district’s website, enter their home address, or call a school directly for assistance:

In response to the current pandemic, the district’s facilities are currently closed to the general public. If restrictions are lifted, the district may plan an onsite registration date to assist families that may not have access to a computer or an electronic device.
