The city of Hermiston is accepting applications to fill the remaining term of the at-large City councilor position left by the resignation of Councilor John Kirwan at the April 27 Hermiston City Council meeting.
The position will be filled by appointment by the city council and run until term-end on Dec. 31, 2020. The application process is available online. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on May 18.
