If you ever considered getting involved in local government, now is your chance.
The city of Hermiston is seeking applicants to fill five vacancies on several committees.
There are two vacancies on the Eastern Oregon Trade & Event Center Committee. Position 3 represents the Greater Hermiston Hospitality and Tourism Committee. It is a three-year term ending in June of 2026. Position 4 represents the community at large and the three-year term also ends Jun 30, 2023.
The Faith-Based Advisory Committee’s Position 5 is open. It is a three-year term ending Dec. 31, 2025.
The Hermiston Hispanic Advisory Committee has an open seat. Position 2 is a three-year term that ends Jun 30, 2023.
And finally, the Library Board has an opening for Position 5, a four-year term ending June 30, 2023.
