The city of Hermiston is looking for artistic, creative and resourceful people who are also parade fans.
The city is planning to enter a float in Portland’s Rose Festival Parade and wants volunteers to help with the project.
Those interested are encouraged to attend the first Rose Festival Parade Float Meeting at city hall on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 5:30 p.m.
The City is looking for community members who have an interest in creating and building a mini-float made of all organic materials that represents and promotes the city of Hermiston at the parade held in June.
