The city of Hermiston is forming the Harkenrider Advisory Committee to enhance and expand the programs and events offered at the Harkenrider Senior Activity Center.
The committee will work with the existing Senior Center Board to increase the programs offered at the center.
An informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 4:30 p.m. to discuss the committee’s goals, structure, and the impact it aims to have on the senior community.
Community members interested in senior welfare, community service, and local development are encouraged to stay informed about this venture.
