The city of Hermiston is looking for residents interested in serving on a couple of its committees.
There are three vacancies on the city’s budget committee. Each position is a three-year term that ends on Dec. 31, 2018.
The city also has an opening on its Recreation Projects Fund Advisory Committee. The committee considers potential recreation projects eligible for funding from a percentage of the Transient Room Tax proceeds. The committee usually meets once per year to evaluate applications and make recommendations to the Hermiston City Council. The opening is for a three-year term that ends on Dec. 31, 2018.
