The Hermiston Street Department will install three new stop signs after getting the go-ahead from the Hermiston City Council.
The new stop signs will be installed for westbound traffic on Crestview Drive at the N.W. Overlook Drive intersection; for northbound traffic on N.W. Fourth Street at the W. Ridgeway Avenue intersection; and for northbound traffic on N.W. Fifth Street at the W. Ridgeway Avenue intersection.
The signs are being installed at the requests of residents who have said there have been several near misses in those areas.
