Hermiston’s Isaac Corey rushed for four touchdowns and threw for two more in the Bulldogs’ 44-20 home victory over Pasco on Friday night.
The Bulldogs from Pasco, winless on the season, scored first on a 3-yard touchdown run to go up 7-0, but Corey scored on a 1-yard run with 3 minutes left in the first to tie the game.
Early in the second, Corey scored on a 1-yard run and followed that up with another 3-yard run midway through the second quarter to put Hermiston up, 21-7.
After intercepting a Pasco pass, Hermiston increased its lead to 28-7 on a 5-yard touchdown pass.
Following a Pasco field goal, Corey went back to work and scored his fourth rushing touchdown of the night, a 1-yard effort, to give Hermiston a 35-10 lead going into halftime.
Pasco added a field goal in the third and Hermiston tacked on a safety and another scoring pass from Corey to wrap up the scoring.
Hermiston (3-4 in conference, 3-5 overall) will travel to Kennewick on Friday while Pasco (0-7, 0-8) will host Kamiakin.
