Hermiston’s Arlene Crow Passes Away at 90

Donna “Arlene” Crow died on April 28, 2017 in Hermiston at the age of 90.

She was born on Sept. 21, 1926 in Union to Jesse and Bonita Jones Lovelace.

She moved to Hermiston in 1950, where she lived until moving to the Astoria area in 2008. She returned to Hermiston in May, 2016, where she had lived since. She was a member of the Solid Rock Church, Hermiston. She enjoyed reading, flowers, time with her grandchildren, crossword puzzles, word search, fishing, coloring, and her dogs.

She is survived by her sons, Dwight Crow and David Michael Crow, Seaside; daughters, Earlene Jacobs, Hermiston, and Sherre Graham, Anchorage, Alaska; very close friend, LaVerne Bodeen; one brother; three sisters; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Crow, her parents, a brother and a sister.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 5 p.m. at the Solid Rock Community Church, 140 S.W. Second St., Hermiston.
