Betty L. Wynne of Hermiston died on Sept. 14, 2016 in Hermiston at the age of 91.
She was born on Nov. 19, 1924 in Fowler, Calif., to William and Ivy Qualls Hollingshead. She was raised and attended schools in California. Betty was united in marriage to Jace Cliff Wynne on August 10, 1952 in Fort Ord, Calif. They moved to Hermiston in 1963 where she has lived since. Betty was a member of the Hermiston First Christian Church, the Hermiston Eagles Lodge, and a life member of the VFW Post #4750 Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, playing board games, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, and word search puzzles.
She is survived by her daughter: Sherry Schlink, Hermiston; son: Ray Wynne, Hermiston; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; 1 niece, and 2 nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband: Jace Cliff Wynne, her son: Roy Anthony Wynne, her parents, and 3 brothers.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 23, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Hermiston Cemetery.
