Cecil E. “Bud” Howard III of Hermiston died on Aug. 18, 2017 at his home at the age of 58.
He was born on Nov. 17, 1958 in Hermiston to Cecil Howard Jr. and Carla Hall Howard.
He attended schools in Umatilla, graduating from Umatilla High School in the class of 1978. He worked with his dad at the family business, Belles Septic Service, until 1999. He then worked in the construction field for several years.
Bud was a member of the Stanfield Baptist Church. He was a rock hound and stamp collector, and enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors.
He is survived by his son, Jesse James Howard, Kentucky; sister, Frances Howard, Hermiston; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017 at 3 p.m. at the Stanfield Baptist Church, 310 N.E. Wheeler Ave., Stanfield.
A private family burial will be held at the Hermiston Cemetery.
