Dennis is survived by his wife, Krista; daughters, Brenda, Dawn, Jodee and Ashlee; grandchildren, Andrea, Adam, Ashlyn, Kaylee, and Cody; brothers, Fred and Pius; and his two best friends, Charlee and Rockee. He is preceded in death by his son, Kristopher; sister, Dora; and brother George.
Dennis was born on November 6, 1945 in Hermiston, OR to Adam & Regina (Gisinger) Horning. He graduated from Hermiston High School in 1963 and studied business at Kinman Business College in Spokane, WA. He married Krista Sue Loftus on October 20, 1973 in Hermiston.
Dennis managed grocery stores throughout the Pacific Northwest, at times running his own store.
Dennis was accomplished at baseball and remained passionate about the sport throughout his life. He was a hardworking individual and a dedicated husband and father. He strove to ensure that his family was loved and taken care of. He was an amazing grandfather and enjoyed spending time with all of his grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 2nd , 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston.
