James A. Watt, longtime Hermiston resident, died on Nov. 14, 2016 in Richland, Wash., at the age of 91.

He was born on Jan. 9, 1925 in Clarkston, Wash., to Charles and Henrietta Weatherly Watt. James grew up and attended schools in Clarkston, Wash. James was honorable and ethical in all phases of his life’s interactions with others. He was steadfast in his beliefs, yet would give you the shirt off his back.

James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was known by many and loved by all. James enjoyed good food, especially hamburgers and was always up for a good laugh.
