Thomas James “Jim” Power of Hermiston died on March 29, 2017 in Hermiston at the age of 92.
He was born on Jan. 24, 1925 in Pendleton to Thomas Carson Power and Lucille Crowner Power.
He was united in marriage to Donna L. Batchelor on May 14, 1948. He worked at the Umatilla Army Depot until his retirement in 1975.
He is survived by his daughters, Judy, Carla and Sanya, all of Hermiston; brother, Darrell Power (Maryann), Echo; grandsons, Randy Hinkley (Casey), Mike Jeppeson (Jenny), and Kevin Irwin (Darla), all of Hermiston; granddaughter, Rachael Hannah (Cory), Kennewick, Wash.; and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, in 2012, his parents, and great grandson Tylor Irwin.
At his request, there will be no service.
