Hermiston's Juanita Saysell Passes Away at 100

Juanita F. “Nita” Saysell of Hermiston died on Dec. 6, 2016 in Hermiston at the age of 100.

She was born on Sept. 27, 1916 in South Haven, Kan., to Marvin and Mayme Longacre Olels. Nita was raised in Red Lodge, Mont. She lived in the Seattle area for several years. Nita lived in Yakima from 1974 until 2006 where she had a house cleaning business. She moved to Hermiston in 2006 to be near her family. Nita enjoyed dancing, baking, cleaning, and always maintained a positive attitude.

She is survived by her daughter: Glenda Isaac & her husband Mike, Hermiston; and a son: Alfred Saysell, Stanfield.

A private burial will be held at West Hills Memorial Park, Yakima, Wash.
