Hermiston’s Kim Muldoon Passes Away at 56

Kimberly Ann “Kim” Muldoon of Hermiston died on Sept. 2, 2017 in Hermiston at the age of 56.

She was born on March 5, 1961 in Jamestown, N.D. to Willis and Naomi Janke Nagel.

She was raised and attended schools in North Dakota. She then earned her associate degree in medical administration. She moved to Hermiston in 2002, where she had lived since. She had worked for Ag World, Ye Olde Pizza Shoppe and most recently Dollar Tree. She married Mike Muldoon on July 30, 2004 in Hermiston.

Kim was an active member of the Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, reading the Bible and going to worship.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Muldoon, Hermiston; sons, Michael Freitas and Brandon Weatherly, North Dakota, and Tyler and Bradley Muldoon, Umatilla; daughter, Melissa Muldoon, Portland; parents, Willis and Naomi Nagel, North Dakota; brothers, Clair Nagel, Nevada and Carey Nagel, North Dakota; sisters, Tammy Reuer, Daphne Nagel, Cindy Thorson and Debbie Grihm, North Dakota; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston.

Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery.
