He is survived by his daughter Michelle Bowden, and two grandsons, Noah and Jeremy Bowden. Mac was born and raised in Aberdeen, South Dakota and eventually moved to Hermiston.
He worked at the Umatilla Army Depot and worked at Simplot for 21 years. Mac enjoyed watching western movies, listening to country music, and spending time with his family.
He enjoyed his grandsons very much and spent as much time with them as he could. He liked sitting outside in his lawn chair with a Pepsi wearing his big straw hat.
He was cremated at his request and his family is having a private service. His ashes will be spread by Mount Hood, per his wishes. He was deeply loved and will be very missed.
