Norman L. Carpenter, 78, of Hermiston, died on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 in Hermiston.
He was born on Jan. 6, 1937 in Marysville, Wash.
Norman grew up in the in the Bay Area, In 1965 moved to Hood River and worked at Diamond Fruit Mill. In 1971 he moved to Hermiston and married Betty J. Dodson. He worked for the Hermiston School District and was an active member of Men’s Full Gospel Business Organization.
He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Carpenter; stepdaughter, Sheri Aubray; and brother, Charles Carpenter.
Private burial will be held at the Hermiston Cemetery.
