She was born on Nov. 11, 1925 in San Jose, Calif.
She lived in Northern California for the first 69 years of her life, followed by 15 years in Northwestern Pennsylvania, and the last five years in Hermiston.
She is survived by her daughters, Julie Palmer, of Hermiston, Fashia Fontaine Zanatta, of Oil City, Penn.; her son, Phillip (Phil) A. Zanatta; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene J. Zanatta; her parents, Andrew and Julia D’Amico; her sister, Katherine Northrup; and her four brothers, Vincent, Angelo, Phillip, and Joseph D’Amico.
A graveside ceremony will be held on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Hermiston Cemetery.
