Richard Dean “Ricky” Cook III of Hermiston died on Dec. 5, 2015 as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Hermiston at the age of 24.
He was born on Oct. 18, 1991 in Kirkland, Wash., to Richard Dean Cook II and Angela Hunt. Ricky was raised and attended school in Everett, Wash. He lived in Chico, Calif., where he worked as a drywaller in construction. Ricky moved to Hermiston in November of this year. He enjoyed dirt bikes, cars, music, video games, and racing go karts. Ricky could fix and build almost anything and was very good at installing and working on car electronics.
He is survived by his parents: Angie Cook, Hermiston, OR & Richard “Rick” Cook II, Chico, CA; grandparents: Linda & Clayton Wyatt, Hermiston, OR, Pat Cook, Chico, CA; daughter: Lilly Christine Cameron-Cook, Everett, WA; and brothers: Cody Crane, Lynnwood, WA, and Travis Cook, Hermiston, OR; sisters: Jenni, Wenatchee, WA, Janey & Joni, both of Goldendale, WA, and Jackie, Lake Stevens, WA.
Ricky was preceded in death by 2 grandfathers: Richard Dean Cook and Steve Hunt.
A celebration of life service was held on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 at Living Faith Church, 1611 Diagonal Blvd., Hermiston.
