Hermiston High School will present the romantic comedy Almost, Maine in the high school auditorium, on May 10, 11, 17 and 18, at 7 p.m.
The show is the most-produced play in American high schools for the past decade.
“Almost, Maine is a funny, whimsical tale that does what live theatre does best; it makes you laugh and feel empathy for characters going through the roller coaster we call love,” said Dr. Beth Anderson, drama club director.
The Hermiston High School Drama Club will sell refreshments during intermission. After each performance, the cast will be available for photos in a designated area, outside of the theatre.
The show is recommended for audience 12 and older. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens 65 and older with ID, and $2 for students. Purchase tickets in advance at the high school bookkeeping office. Seating is general admission, but groups of 10 or more may purchase reserved seats by emailing Anderson at beth.anderson@hermistonsd.org.
