The Hermiston girls basketball team had little trouble Tuesday night against the La Grande Tigers, coming away with a 53-25 win.
The Bulldogs used a pair of impressive runs to build up a big lead, including a 17-0 run that gave Hermiston a 28-7 lead.
La Grande pulled to within 13 points in the second quarter, but a 16-0 run pushed the Bulldogs’ lead to 47-18.
Maddy Juul led the Bulldogs with 15 points while Kynzee Padilla added 9 for Hermiston.
The Bulldogs will travel to Bend on Saturday to take on Mountain View before returning home to host Sunnyside on Tuesday, Jan. 10.
