The Hermiston Bulldogs will host the La Salle Falcons at Kennison Field in the first round of the Oregon 5A playoffs Friday night.
The Bulldogs are seeded No. 3 in the 5A bracket and will take a six-game winning streak into Friday’s contest against the Falcons. Hermiston is coming off a 42-15 win over Pendleton on Oct. 27 to wrap up the regular season. The Bulldogs finished the season with an overall 7-2 record and a 6-1 record in league play.
La Salle is seeded No. 14 and brings an overall 5-4 record into the game. The Falcons, who play out of Milwaukie, finished 4-3 in conference play.
The winner of Friday’s game will match up against the winner of the first-round game that pits No. 11 Crater against No. 6 South Albany.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Friday at Kennison Field.
