While much of the community’s attention has been on the Hermiston High School football team after it claimed the first state title in school history, accolades are also coming in for HHS volleyball star Noa Ena.

The Hermiston senior was named the Columbia River Conference Player of the Year. She was also named to the Oregonian’s 5A All-State second team. She was the only player on the east side of the state to be named to one of the all-state teams.

During the past season, Ena had 175 kills, 19 aces, 14 blocks and 132 digs. Ena helped lead the Bulldogs into the 5A state tournament. The Bulldogs were 13-8 overall and 7-2 in CRC play. The beat Hillsboro in the play-in round before losing to Bend.
