Mrs. Hoa Ngoc Deo Nguyen of Hermiston passed away on Feb. 28, 2025 at the age of 79 after a life filled with adventures, unwavering strength, love and laughter.
She was born on Sept. 8, 1945 in Vietnam a devoted daughter of the late Hin Van Deo and Toi Thi Lo. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sharing stories and spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Nguyen is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Hoang Nguyen; three daughters, Thanh Nhung Jeffers, Lan Chi Nguyen, and Ngoc Lan Nguyen; two sons-in-law, Kevin Jeffers and James Espinoza; nine grandchildren, Alex and Ellie Jeffers, and Andy, Lucie, Tilana, Mason, Jaelin, Harmony, and Ella Nguyen; and three younger sisters, Quynh, Hoai and Anh Deo. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Burns Mortuary in Hermiston.
