An honor walk, remembrance wall, information booths and children’s activities are featured during Hope for Hermiston, a suicide prevention and awareness event.

As part of National Suicide Prevention Month, the event is Saturday, Sept. 9, 9-11 a.m. on the campus at Good Shepherd Health Care System, 610 N.W. 11th St. Community members are invited to learn about local resources. And to honor those lost to suicide, bring a photo to post on the remembrance wall.

While participation is free, those planning to attend are asked to register to assist organizers with advance preparations. For more information or to register, visit bit.ly/3qQm9qX. For questions, email Kimberly Rill at kim.rill@umatillaelectric.com.
