Drivers 55 and older who want to brush up on their driving skills and maybe even get a reduction on their auto insurance can take a driving class offered by AARP.
Accredited by the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles, the six-hour defensive driving class helps seniors develop safer driving strategies.
There are two courses scheduled in the coming months. The first will be on Saturday, May 3 and the second will be on Saturday, June 7. Both classes run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Medical Center in conference room 2. The cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members.
