The following are recent arrests made by the Hermiston Police Department:
May 24: Robert John Madison, 40, was arrested at Hermiston Plaza and charged with first-degree criminal mischief (vandalism).
May 24: Rogelio Silva, 31, was arrested on a warrant on the 1200 block of S.W. 11th Street #54 and charged with misdemeanor probation violation.
May 24: Eliezer Baldomero Zamarron, 34, was arrested on the 200 block of N. First Street and charged with DUII – alcohol and reckless driving.
May 23: Ruben Covarrubias De la Paz, 27, was arrested on the 300 block of S. First Street and charged with strangulation (simple assault), first-degree burglary (residence), and fourth-degree assault (simple assault).
May 23: Amanda Renee Cazares, 38, was arrested on the 300 block of S. First Street and charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
May 23: Anthony Tavarez Cruz, 21, was arrested on the 900 block of S.E. Columbia Drive and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear.
May 22: Joshua Lee Iles, 19, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with felony probation violation, resisting arrest (disorderly conduct), and second-degree criminal trespass.
May 21: Artemio Lopez Martin, 37, was arrested on a warrant on the 400 block of E. Newport Avenue and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear.
May 20: Carlos H. Barragan, 80, was arrested on a warrant on the 1200 block of W. Linda Avenue and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear.
May 20: Matthew Allen Dean Pearce, 34, was arrested on the 700 block of S.W. Seventh Street and charged with third-degree theft less than $100 (other).
May 20: Chris Allen Ralston, 65, was arrested on the 700 block of S.W. Seventh Street and charged with third-degree theft less than $100 (other) and second-degree criminal trespass.
May 19: Jeremy Clayton Bergstad, 44, was arrested on the 1800 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000).
May 19: Jose Ramirez Martin, 35, was arrested on S.W. Fifth Street and charged with DUII – alcohol, reckless driving, and operating a vehicle without driving privileges (no OPS).
May 19: Francisco Jesus Cruz Munoz, 35, was arrested on the 1400 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree disorderly conduct.
May 18: Pascual Perez Lucas, 40, was arrested on the 2300 block of N. First Street and charged with DUII – alcohol, reckless driving, driving while suspended or revoked violation, and failure to install ignition interlock device.
