The following are recent arrests made by the Hermiston Police Department:
May 31: Jose Alvarez Solorzano, 69, was arrested on the 400 block of N.W. 11th Street and charged with DUII – alcohol.
May 31: James Edward Cohan, 74, was arrested on the 100 block of S.W. 10th Street and charged with failure to report as a sex offender.
May 29: Kevin Kelly Gwin, 57, was arrested on a warrant near W. Highland Avenue and Cedar Drive and charged with misdemeanor probation violation.
May 28: Angela Marie Scroggins, 46, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000) and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance – Schedule II.
May 27: Cody James Boede, 19, was arrested on a warrant on the 900 block of S. Highway 395 and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear.
May 27: Rocio Potter, 43, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000).
May 27: Daniel Christopher Morse, 33, was arrested on the 700 block of W. Hermiston Avenue and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear.
May 27: Kaitlyn May Kelly, 30, was cited and released near E. Newport and Ninth Street for harassment (A) offensive physical contact (simple assault).
May 26: Roni Lee Castillo, 30, was cited and released on the 1400 block of Townsend Road for second-degree theft ($101-$1,000) – other and first-degree criminal trespass.
May 26: Daniel Miguel Cera Gomez, 34, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with third-degree theft (shoplifting less than $100).
May 26: Kent Paustell, 64, was cited and released on the 1300 block of N. First Street for third-degree theft (shoplifting less than $100).
May 25: Jonathan James Sorenson, 37, was arrested on the 1800 block of N.E. Second Street and charged with fourth-degree assault (aggravated assault).
May 24: Richard Tyrone Ruiz, 35, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street – Walmart and charged with second-degree criminal trespass and felon in possession of a weapon.
May 24: Benjamin Castro Sanchez, 43, was arrested at 7-Eleven and charged with misdemeanor driving while suspended/revoked.
May 24: Shae Rebecca Boothroyd, 21, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with third-degree theft (shoplifting less than $100).
