The following are recent arrests made by the Hermiston Police Department:
July 25: Ronald Layne Storment, 49, was arrested on the 300 block of S.E. Fifth Street and charged with fourth-degree assault.
July 25: Rachel Marie Cruz, 26, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with third-degree theft (shoplifting less than $100).
July 24: Albert Jeronimo Ahilon, was arrested near N. First Place and W. Standard Avenue and charged with misdemeanor DSW/R and failure to obey traffic control device.
July 24: James Robert Colvin, 49, was arrested on the 1200 block of W. Sunland Avenue and charged with menacing (intimidation/threat).
July 24: Alex Richer Jr., 36, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting, $101-$1,000).
July 24: Maria Luisa Huerta Tellez, 24, was arrested near S.W. 11th Street and W. Division Avenue and charged with hit-and-run (property).
July 23: Isidro Ambriz Mendoza, 29, was arrested on the 300 block of S. First Street and charged with misdemeanor probation violation.
July 20: Jorge Java Nava, 38, was arrested on the 1000 block of S.W. 11th Street and charged with harassment (simple assault).
July 20: Baltazar Velasquez, 25, was arrest near N. First Place and W. Elm Avenue and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear, DWS/R violation, and driving while uninsured.
July 20: Juan Carlos Ochoa, 29, was arrested on the 300 block of E. Gladys Avenue and charged with parole/LSA violation, third-degree robbery, third-degree theft (purse snatching, less than $100), and resisting arrest.
July 20: Jonathan Aaron Farrester, 42, was arrested on the 600 block of S.E. Sixth Street and charged with second-degree disorderly conduct.
July 19: Glenda Morey, 51, was arrested at McKenzie Park and charged with fourth-degree assault, and strangulation (aggravated assault).
July 19: Sara Silva, 24, was arrested near W. Cherry Avenue and N.W. Spruce Street and charged with third-degree theft (less than $100).
July 18: Emily Grace Sowell, 26, was arrested on the 1100 block of W. Highland Avenue and charged with DUII (alcohol) and reckless driving.
July 17: Ross Carlisle Vanetta, 40, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000).
July 17: Jose Manuel Longoria Jr., 30, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000).
July 17: Kylie Joanna O’Brien, 29, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000).
July 17: Alex Morales Rodriguez, 25, was arrested on the 1400 block of W. Kenna Drive and charged with parole/LSA violation.
July 16: Carlos Gonzalez Orellana, 49, was arrested near W. Highland Avenue and S.W. Seventh Street and charged with misdemeanor DWS/R.
July 16: Elmer Leonel Montano, 18, was arrested near S.W. 11th Street and W. Lathrop Avenue and charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
July 16: Chase Albert Fritz, 21, was arrested on the 200 block N.W. Third Street and charged with misdemeanor probabtion violation.
July 15: Amanda Sue Walker, 33, was arrested near E. Cornell Avenue and N. First Street and charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
July 15: John Arthur Baxgter, 31, was arrested near E. Cornell Avenue and N. First Street and charged with third-degree theft (less than $100).
July 15: Samantha Daun Irwin, 26, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree theft ($101-1,000), second-degree criminal trespass, and first-degree criminal trespass.
July 15: Jeremy Everett Wells, 41, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with two counts of first-degree criminal trespass, first-degree forgery, first-degree theft (shoplifting over $1,000), felony probation violation, and felon in possession of a weapon.
July 15: Lawrence Allen Perrin, 45, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
July 14: Hunter Gregory Nettles, 27, was arrested at McKenzie Park and charged with felony probation violation.
July 14: Jennifer Ashley Cervantes, 28, was arrested on the 100 block of E. Highland and charged with misemeanor failure to appear.
July 14: Michael Von Vertrees, 44, was arrested near N. First Street and Cornell Avenue and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear.
