The following are recent arrests made by the Hermiston Police Department:
Jan. 9: Brett Malcolm Waldron, 41, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with third-degree theft (shoplifting less than $100).
Jan. 9: Donald Burdon, 58, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000).
Jan. 8: Michael Ray Hoffman Jr., 23, was arrested on a warrant near N.W. Harkenrider Court and N.W. 12th Street and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear and second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000).
Jan. 8: Cody James Boede, 19, was arrested on the 1000 block of N. First Street and charged with felony failure to appear, second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000), and misdemeanor failure to appear.
Jan. 8: Cecilia Lizett Moreno, 23, was cited and released on the 4700 block of N.W. Pioneer Place for second-degree criminal trespass.
Jan. 7: Katherine Castillo Sanchez, 24, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000).
Jan. 6: Ashley Ondina Doris Pantoja, 31, was arrested on the 2200 block of N.E. 10th Street and charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
Jan. 5: Marcus Thomas Rhorer, 43, was arrested on the 1400 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000) and first-degree criminal trespass.
Jan. 5: Raileen Erin Cook, 23, was arrested on a warrant on the 100 block of N.E. Second Street and charged with felony failure to appear.
Jan. 5: Ricardo Sanchez Mendoza, 46, was arrested on the 900 block of S.W. 14th Place and charged with fourth-degree assault (simple assault), interfering with making a report, harassment (A) offensive physical contact (simple assault), and strangulation (simple assault).
Jan. 4: Corbin James Schultz, 23, was arrested on the 1200 block of S.E. Ninth Street and charged with reckless driving.
Jan. 4: Kimberly Michelle Fetter, 33, was arrested on the 1300 block of N. First Street and charged with second-degree theft (shoplifting $101-$1,000).
Jan. 4: Ernesto Mendoza, 25, was arrested on a warrant near W. Hermiston Avenue and N.W. Butte Drive and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear.
Jan. 4: Veronica Jazmin Moncivais, 32, was arrested on a warrant on the 300 block of S. First Street and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear.
Jan. 3: Andrew Bryant Sherrow, 46, was arrested on a warrant on the 1,000 block of S. Highway 395 and charged with misdemeanor probation violation.
