The Hermiston Police Department is now offering fingerprint services two days a week.
“In an effort to be responsive to the demand on police services, we are changing our current practice regarding fingerprint services only being available on Friday from 2:30 to 7 p.m.,” said Crime Prevention Officer Erica Sandoval.
Beginning July 1, fingerprint service may be obtained by a scheduled appointment only, on each Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and on each Sunday between 1 and 3 p.m. Appointments are scheduled in 15 minute increments. There is no change to the $20 fee, however, debit and credit cards as well as cash may be used. A current identification card or license is required at the time of the appointment.
