The Hermiston Police Department will celebrate National Police Week with a public event on May 18.
The public is invited to meet the city’s first responders from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the police department, 330 S. First St.
There will be free hot dogs and those attending will get a chance to have photos taken with police officers. For more information, call the HPD at 567-5519.
