Hermiston School District is giving Hermiston parents and community members an opportunity to experience a 21st-century classroom, and engage in student activities during what is being called a “VIP day” on Oct. 17.
The event takes place from 8:45 to 11 a.m. at Armand Larive Middle School. The event is not limited to specifically Armand Larive; community members and parents from Hermiston elementary schools are welcomed to attend.
Since space is limited, registration is required and may be done by visiting the ALMS website or by calling (541) 667-6025 or (541) 667-6036, before Oct. 11.
“We are very excited to open our doors and our classroom to parents and community members,” said ALMS Principal Stacie Roberts. “Parents will be pleasantly surprised to learn how the education world has evolved over the years. Our staff is delighted to showcase the great learning that is happening in the school.”
