A Hunter Education Class will be taught in the AC Houghton Elementary School Cafeteria during the month of March.
There will be six two-hour sessions on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings. The dates for the class are March 7, 9, 14, 16, 18, 21 and 23. There will be a range day on Saturday, March 18 as part of this class.
Interested students should sign up at http://www.dfw.state.or.us or at www.facebook.com/ODFWoutdoors or at any point of sale of hunting and fishing licenses like Bi-Mart, Walmart, Irrigon Shell or Boardman Hardware.
When signing up for the class, select Hunter Education Conventional Class #31201.
There is a $10 cost for the class. There will be other hunter education classes taught in Hermiston, Heppner, Pendleton and Milton-Freewater in 2017.
