The I Love My City community service event, hosted by the Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department and Oasis Vineyard Church, takes place tomorrow, May 18 from 9 a.m. to noon. The event is made possible by a partnership between several area churches and the city of Hermiston.
In addition to clean-up efforts, organizers plan free car washes, park beautifications and more. Anyone can join the effort by signing up, just showing up at McKenzie Park, or looking for volunteers wearing red shirts. No experience is necessary.
