Inland Northwest Chorale, under the direction of R. Lee Friese, will give two performances on the weekend of Oct. 14-15.
The chorale will perform at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Umatilla High School commons.
A second performance will be performed at Pilot Rock Elementary School at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15.
The program titled “Fall Fantasia” will consist of eight pieces including the following:
“Goin’ Home” from the Largo of the New World Symphony by Anton Dvorak
“Shenandoah” an American Folk Song arranged by James Erb
“Great Day” arranged by Warren Martin, featuring soloists Ra Niel Dunn, Hermiston, Phil Rudd and Harvey Foreman, both of Pendleton
“Soon-a Will Be Done ” arranged by Wayne Howorth, featuring soloists Becky Henshaw, Pendleton and Salli Ketchersid, Hermiston
“The Heavens Are Telling” by Joseph Haydn, featuring soloists Arlene Thompson, Pendleton, Phil Hector and Dean Mason, both of Hermiston
Performances are free and receptions will follow afterwards.
