The Oregon Department of Corrections (DOC) is reporting the death of inmate at Two Rivers Correctional Institution in Umatilla.
Daniel Holterman, 80, died the morning of Sept. 27. The state medical examiner will investigate to determine the cause of death.
Holterman entered DOC custody on March 25, 1983 from Clackamas County. His earliest release date was Feb. 1, 2024. There were no known next of kin.
TRCI is a multi-custody facility in Umatilla that houses more than 1,800 men.
