Irene Theresa Flores of Hermiston died on Feb. 3, 2022 in Hermiston at the age of 65.
She was born on Dec. 6, 1956 in Toppenish, Wash. to Raul Flores Sr. and Irene Rebollosa Flores.
Irene grew up and attended school in Toppenish, Wash. She then moved to Umatilla in 1978 with her mom and dad. She resided in Hermiston for many years. She was retired but had worked at Blue Mountain Community College, worked as a taxi driver, worked at Walmart, Stanfield City Hall, and various other jobs.
Irene was a very loving person. She always had a smile on her face and a laugh you could never forget. She loved music, dancing and cooking, but most of all she loved her family. They were her everything.
Irene is survived by one son, Guadalupe Flores; four daughters, Jovita Flores, Anika Flores, RosaLinda Flores and Arraceli Flores; seven grandkids, Raul Flores, Alex Aguilera, Emilia Venegas, Auriella Cox, Jenesyss Cox, Kenneth Cox IV and Malaya Cox; siblings, Richard Flores, Eloy Flores, Rudy Flores, Juanita Flores, Veronica Albright, Maria Flores and Consuelo Flores; daughter-in-law, Veronica Flores; and son-in-law, Kenny Cox III.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Raul Flores; her brother, Raul Flores Jr.; and her grand baby little angel.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston.
Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Toppenish, Wash.
