Irrigon High School placed second and Riverside High School was fourth in the 2015 OSAA Cheerleading State Championships on Saturday in Portland.
Cheerleaders from 79 schools in six divisions from around the state competed at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Irrigon and Riverside competed in the 3A/2A/1A Division, won by Pleasant Hill. Irrigon finished with an average of 50.42, just behind Pleasant Hill’s average score of 51.95. Riverside’s average score was 44.03.
