The Irrigon Knights held off the Umatilla Vikings, 30-27, in a non-league football matchup on Friday.
The Knight (2-0) will face a tough test on Friday when they play a road game against the Union/Cove Bobcats. The Bobcats are 3-0 and have cruised to victories in all three games, including a 50-6 win over Umatilla to open the season.
The Vikings fall to 0-3 on the season and will travel on Friday to take on the 1-2 White Swan Cougars.
