In recognition of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the city of Irrigon is hosting a Hispanic Heritage Celebration on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7-8 at the event plaza, 420 N.E. Main Ave.
The two-day event begins with the movie “Coco” on Friday from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday’s activities are from 6:30 to 10 p.m. and include a parade from A.C. Houghton Elementary School to the post office parking lot, and vendors offering various cultural opportunities, items and exhibits.
