An 18-year-old Irrigon resident died Sunday afternoon after being pulled out of the Columbia River.
OregonLive reported that Morrow County marine deputies received a report of a swimmer in distress at the Irrigon Marina at 3:28 p.m. Deputies searched for Dylan Jones unsuccessfully. At 4:16 p.m., a Columbia Dive Rescue diver went into the water and recovered the body of Jones.
Jones was taken by ambulance to Good Shepherd Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
