In a battle of unbeaten teams, the Irrigon Knights overcame the Umatilla Vikings on the road, 39-12, in Friday’s non-league matchup.
In their next game, the Knights face the Union/Cove Bobcats in a non-league bout, on Friday, Sept. 25. Irrigon will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Bobcats enter the game with a 2-1 record after their 44-26 non-league win over Pilot Rock/Nixyaawii Community.
The Vikings (2-1) will now prepare to take on White Swan. The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record.
