Irrigon's Charles Beezley Passes Away at Age 81

Charles H. Beezley, 81, of Irrigon, died on Monday, Aug. 18, 2014 at his home in Irrigon.

He was born on Jan. 7, 1933 in Lawton, Kans., to Cecil and Gladys Lewis Beezley. Chuck spent his life as a machinist/mechanic and truck driver.

He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy from 1950-1952. He was a member of the Irrigon Seventh-day Adventist Church and served as elder and volunteered at community services. He will be greatly missed by many.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; two sisters; and two sons, Billy and Chuckie Jr. He is survived by his wife, Reatha; sister-in-law Freada Johnson; daughter, Debbie Netherton; and numerous grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the Irrigon Seventh-day Adventist Church, 205 NW Opal Place in Irrigon. Private family burial of cremains will be held at the Desert Lawn Cemetery in Irrigon.
