Deana V. Fountain died on July 25, 2014 in Irrigon at the age of 56.
She was born on July 12, 1958 in Stayton to Lynn Harley and Lynne Ladine Smith Scott.
Deana was raised and graduated from Santiam High School in Mill City. She lived in Hood River until 2000 when she moved to Irrigon. Deana married Jeffrie Fountain on June 26, 2005 in Irrigon. She owned and operated Deana’s Adult Foster Home in Irrigon for 12 years until her health forced her to retire. Deana enjoyed shopping, ATVing, cooking, helping and caring for others. She was a member of the Irrigon Moose Lodge and the Irrigon Chamber of Commerce.
She is survived by her son, Jacob Andermatt and wife Tammy, Irrigon; daughter, Jaimee Simmons and husband Kurt, Irrigon; mother and dad, Lynne and Glenn Pardue, Irrigon; brothers, Gary Scott, Terry Scott, Jerry Scott, Gary Lee Pardue, and Ed Pardue; grandchildren, Cody, Carlos, Ana, Jazmin, and Joy; and several nieces and nephews.
Deana was preceded in death by her father, Lynn Harley Scott; and husband, Jeffrie Fountain.
A celebration of life potluck gathering will be held on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014 at 12 noon at her home in Irrigon.
