He was born Jan. 10, 1933 at Burke, S.D., to Paul William and Bessie Elizabeth (Lake) Rogers.
Eldon is survived by his 3 children and their spouses, Todd William Rogers and wife Janis Kathleen Rogers of Michigan, Karyn Lynn Ghraib and husband Mohammed Ghraib of California, and Kristi Dawn Rogers and Robert Walker Millhaen of Oregon; 4 grandchildren, Paul Michael Rogers, Brian Edward Rogers, Michael Lee Issel and Jacob Joe Issel.
The Rogers family will hold services with military honors for Eldon on Saturday, Dec.6, 2014 at 2 p.m., at their home, 370 NW 6th Street in Irrigon, Oregon.
