Janice Yeoman, Former Business Owner, Dies at 64

Janice L. Foster Yeoman, of Hermiston, died on Dec. 25, 2013 in Portland at the age of 64.

She was born on Dec. 18, 1949 in Portland to Pius and Marcelene Ruth Fish Wolf. She was raised in and attended school in Portland. Janice married Robert D. Foster in 1973 in Walla Walla, Wash. They owned and operated Starrett Decor Center in Hermiston for 27 years until retiring in 2002. Bob preceded her in death in 2008. Janice married Ed Yeoman on March 30, 2013 in Hermiston. She enjoyed bowling, traveling to Las Vegas, cooking, crossword puzzles, cribbage, and cherished her time with family.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Yeoman, Hermiston; daughters, Cricket Grant-Grierson, Hermiston, and Terra Dixon and husband James, Hermiston; sisters, Joyce Vickroy, Linda Hamman, Barbara Linton, all of Portland, and Marcie Robertson, Oakdale, Calif.; and six grandchildren, Cody, Taylor, Bobbi, Jessica, McKenzie and Zachary.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Foster; her parents; and sisters, Donna Maxon and Leslie Richardson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at 1 p.m., at New Hope Community Church, 1350 S. Hwy 395, Hermiston.
